Dr. Kalyani Gaddam is a dedicated academic and researcher currently serving as the Controller of Examinations. With a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from JNTUK, Kakinada, and an extensive background in Chemical Engineering, Dr. Kalyani has made significant contributions to the fields of bioremediation, biochar, low-cost adsorbents, and wastewater treatment.

Her doctoral research focused on the innovative use of Pithophora cleveana Wittrock and Mimusops elengi for the removal of lead and zinc from aqueous solutions, utilizing Central Composite Design for optimization. Dr. Kalyani has published extensively, with 15 SCI-indexed articles and numerous contributions across various scientific platforms. Her research not only addresses pressing environmental challenges but also informs sustainable practices in engineering.

In addition to her role as Controller of Examinations, Dr. Kalyani has held various academic positions, including Associate Professor and Deputy Controller of Examinations. She has also served as a Senior and Assistant Professor at GMR Institute of Technology, Srikakulam. Her leadership extends to several key responsibilities, including coordinating NAAC/NBA/ISO efforts, overseeing student counseling, and managing M. Tech Environmental Engineering laboratories.

Dr. Kalyani is an active member of the Indian Society for Technical Education and has participated in numerous workshops, seminars, and conferences, both nationally and internationally. Her commitment to education is further reflected in her efforts to enhance examination regulations and academic standards.
