MCA department facilitates high-end systems in all focused
laboratories, such as Programming for Data structures
through Python Lab, Database Management Systems Lab,
Object-Oriented Programming Lab, Operating Systems Lab,
Java Programming Lab, Web Technologies Lab, Linux
Programming Lab, Software Testing Methodologies Lab, Cloud
Application Development Lab, Big Data and Business
Analytics Lab. The laboratories offer students to work on a
wide range of advanced software packages such as Oracle
IBM SPSS Clamentine, IBM Rational Rose, IBM Rational
Functional Tester, IBM Blumix, SAP, MATLAB, J2ME,NodeJS,
Angular JS, Word Press, Tableau and Sales force.
The Department of Computer Applications was established in
the year 2004 to run the two years' Postgraduate programme
in Master of Computer Applications (MCA) with excellent
infrastructure and experienced faculty. The curriculum of these
courses is meticulously designed by the members of board of
studies formed with the eminent people from esteemed
universities and software companies. The syllabus for the said
courses is being constantly modied to keep the knowledge
of the students abreast with the latest developments in the IT
sector. The department has a well maintained Computer
laboratory with internet facility for the staff and the students.
The Department library has more than 200 books and is
available to students and Faculty for ready reference. The
emphasis is given on not only making the students
academically brilliant, but true leaders and team players, thus
preparing them for the real life corporate world. So, the
department constantly invites people from industries and top
institutions to provide valuable information to our students
