Program Educational Objectives(PEO's)

PEO1: To be able to explore areas of research, application & innovation and make impact in different types of institutional settings such as corporate entities, government bodies, NGOs, inter- government organizations & start-ups.
PEO2: To be able to design, and implement strategies to the organizational problems through data analysis tools, effectively deploy knowledge of business analytics, demonstrate critical thinking skills & make the intellectual connections between quantitative and qualitative tools, theories and context to solve the organizational problems.
PEO3: To be able to work with, lead & engage big and small teams comprising diverse people in terms of gender, nationality, region, language, culture & beliefs. To understand stated and unstated differences of views, beliefs & customs in diverse & inter disciplinary team settings.

Program Outcomes (PO's)

PO1: Apply mathematics and computing fundamental and domain concepts to find out the solution of defined problems and requirements. (Computational Knowledge).
PO2: Use fundamental principle of Mathematics and Computing to identify, formulate research literature for solving complex problems, reaching appropriate solutions. (Problem Analysis)
PO3: Understand to design, analyze and develop solutions and evaluate system components or processes to meet specific need for local, regional and global public health, societal, cultural, and environmental systems. (Design/Development of Solutions).
PO4: Use expertise research-based knowledge and methods including skills for analysis and development of information to reach valid conclusions. (Conduct Investigations of Complex Computing Problems).
PO5: Exhibiting ethics for regulations, responsibilities and norms in professional computing practices. (Professional Ethics).
PO6: Enlighten knowledge to enhance understanding and building research, strategies in independent learning for continual development as computer applications professional (Lifelong Learning).
PO7: Establishing strategies in developing and implementing ideas in multi- disciplinary environments using computing and management skills as a member or leader in a team. (Project Management and Finance).
PO8: Contribute to progressive community and society in comprehending computing activities by writing effective reports, designing documentation, making effective presentation, and understand instructions. (Communication Efficacy).
PO9: Gain confidence for self and continuous learning to improve knowledge and competence as a member or leader of a team. (Individual and Teamwork).

Program Specific Outcomes (PSO's)

PSO1:To be able to apply strong analytical foundation in key functional domains to contribute to the different verticals.
PSO2:To be able to design & demonstrate the use of tools and techniques required to provide solutions based on the data points available in abundance in an organization.
PSO3:To be able to demonstrate hands on experience on a number of data analysis tools to extract information for strategic decision making to implement organizational strategies.

Knowledge and Attitude Profile (WK)

WK1: A systematic, theory-based understanding of the natural sciences applicable to the discipline and awareness of relevant social sciences
WK2: Conceptually - based mathematics, numerical analysis, data analysis, statistics and formal aspects of computer and information science to support detailed analysis and modelling applicable to the discipline
WK3: A systematic, theory-based formulation of engineering fundamentals required in the engineering discipline
WK4: Engineering specialist knowledge that provides theoretical frameworks and bodies of knowledge for the accepted practice areas in the engineering discipline; much is at the forefront of the discipline.
WK5: Knowledge, including efficient resource use, environmental impacts, whole-life cost, re- use of resources, net zero carbon, and similar concepts, that supports engineering design and operations in a practice area
WK6: Knowledge of engineering practice (technology) in the practice areas in the engineering discipline
WK7: Knowledge of the role of engineering in society and identified issues in engineering practice in the discipline, such as the professional responsibility of an engineer to public safety and sustainable development
WK8: Engagement with selected knowledge in the current research literature of the discipline, awareness of the power of critical thinking and creative approaches to evaluate emerging issues
WK9: Ethics, inclusive behavior and conduct. Knowledge of professional ethics, responsibilities, and norms of engineering practice. Awareness of the need for diversity by reason of ethnicity, gender, age, physical ability etc. with mutual understanding and respect, and of inclusive attitudes
