FDP on "Simulation of Electrical Systems"

A Seven Day Faculty Development Training Programme on "Simulation of Electrical Systems" was conducted by EEE Department from 17-23 May, 13. Mr. M. Vijay, Corporate Trainer, Naresh i Technologies, Hyd delivered keynote address emphasized the importance of Simulation Modular, Mat Labs Applications. He also said Simulations are useful to the EEE students in developing their project works effectively. The programme was organized in two sessions a day. In each day practical training and hands on sessions were conducted in the presence on the experts. In Valedictory function the chief Guest Dr. M. R. Kodali, Dean - Academics explained the importance of simulation of Electrical Systems in the engineering field. Later the participation certificates were distributed to faculty attended the programme by Guests. Participants expressed their satisfaction and said that they enriched their abilities in the simulation of Electrical Systems. Prof. J.Suresh HOD and other faculty members took part in the programme.

FDP on "MATLAB Applications in Power Engineering"

A Faculty Development Programme on MATLAB was conducted on 8,9 December 2011, under the auspices of EEE Dept of ASCET. Participating in the event as the chief Guest Dr Marutheswar, Professor ,Dept. of EEE, SV university,Tirupati threw light on the emerging trends and challenges in electrical engineering. Prof S. Varad Rajan, ECE Dept, SV university, Dr AVS Prasad, Principal, Prof M.R.Kodali, J.Suresh, H.O.D, Dept of EEE Ascet, and faculty from various colleges participated in the event.


A Faculty Development Programme was held for the development of technical skills of EEE dept faculty on 19.05.2011. Dr. Sreenivas, Manager, A.P TRANSCO offered training to the EEE faculty on the topic "Reliability of Power Systems Operations". The event was attended by Mr. J. Suresh, HOD EEE and faculty of EEE Department.

A Two Day FDP on "Application of Soft Computing Techniques in Electrical Engineering"

A two day Faculty Development Programme on Computing Softskills in Electrical Engineering was conducted on 04-12-2010, Chief Guest Dr. K.S.R. Anjanayulu, said that soft skills play a vital role even in Electrical Engineering sector. Another resource person Prof. Rama Krishna, Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology, advised the students to cultivate dynamic qualities such as soft skills, interpersonal skills. More than 400 faculty from other colleges all over the district took part in the event. Director Dr. A.V.S. Prasad, Prof. J.Suresh H.O.D, EEE Department, Prof. K. Dhanunjaya H.O.D, ECE Department were present at the event..
